- Prep: Medium-high (150–170°C / 300–340°F), no steam, hard heat-safe surface.
- Position: Place patch; cover with thin cotton cloth or parchment.
- Press: Firm, even pressure for 15–20 seconds; do not slide.
- Flip & Seal: Inside out, press behind the patch for 10–15 seconds.
- Cool: Let cool 1–2 minutes; re-press edges if needed.

- Best on cotton/cotton-blend, denim, canvas
- Leather/nylon/vinyl: avoid heat; sew on instead
