How to Measure Your Ring Size
Method 1: Measure an Existing Ring
- Choose a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
- Place the ring on a flat surface.
- Measure straight across the centre of the ring from one inside edge to the opposite inside edge.
- Record the measurement in millimetres and match it to the Inside Diameter (mm) column above.
Method 2: Measure Your Finger
- Cut a narrow strip of paper or use a non-stretching piece of string.
- Wrap it comfortably around the base of the intended finger.
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Lay the paper or string flat and measure the marked length in millimetres.
- Match the measurement to the EU / Circumference (mm) column above.
Tips for the Best Fit
- Measure your finger near the end of the day, when it is usually at its normal or slightly larger size.
- Avoid measuring when your hands are unusually cold, as fingers may temporarily be smaller.
- Do not wrap the paper or string too tightly.
- Make sure the selected size can pass comfortably over your knuckle.
- Measure two or three times to confirm the result.
- For a wide-band ring, consider choosing half a size larger for a more comfortable fit.
